Mar 28 2012 LAST HEADLINE SHOWS FOR 2012!

Leader Cheetah are gearing up to hit the stage for the last time in 2012 – announcing intimate full-band shows in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne this May. With Dan Crannitch and Dan Pash fresh from touring as a duo alongside Canada’s Dan Mangan, the Adelaide four-piece are looking forward to one last tour before undertaking work on their third long-player – the follow-up to 2011’s Lotus Skies.

Frontman Dan Crannitch says – “I’m extremely excited about the new material we have been working on. After Lotus Skies a lot of the songs I had been writing felt a bit safe. I wanted to push a little deeper and see what was there and even though the new songs are in early stages of full band development, they feel like a breath of fresh air.  “I’m really looking forward to playing these shows. I kind of feel these ones are for the fans. We will be letting people in each city decide the set lists for the shows via Facebook, anything from The Sunspot Letters and Lotus Skies is fair game, and we will definitely be showcasing some of the new material. These shows will be a blast.”

The band will be accompanied by a violinist, and performing some songs in exciting new arrangements. Guests for the shows will be announced shortly, with tickets on sale now.
